Save The Frogs Day 2027 — School Student Session, MuzaffarGarh

An interactive session for students of The Citizen Foundation School about why frogs matter, what threatens them, and how they can protect them.

We begin with a warm-up questioning activity, then a short presentation on why every species matters. Students visit a pond site near the school to observe the habitat and learn how pollution harms frogs. Back in the classroom they draw and paint the threats frogs face in their own area, such as polluted water, habitat loss and chemicals, and share what they learned with family and friends.

Schedule

• 9:00 to 9:30 AM: Welcome and warm-up questioning activity
• 9:30 to 10:00 AM: Presentation on frogs and the ecosystem
• 10:00 to 11:00 AM: Visit to the pond site and discussion on pollution
• 11:00 to 11:30 AM: Drawing activity (painting of local threats to frogs)
• 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM: Sharing of artwork, action pledge and closing

Good to know

• Safety: students are supervised at all times at the pond and kept at a safe distance from the water's edge.
• Art supplies: all drawing and painting materials are provided free of charge.
